Past TripsCaving trip to Ireland, September 2006.In September 2006, 8 cavers packed themselves into two cars, and headed for the Swansea/cork ferry to take them on there adventure for a week's caving in County Clare Ireland. As usual Ireland is a very popular caving destination for the club. The caves are mostly horizontal and relatively easy, all be it some of them still a little young, and not as spacious as some caves. And of course there are the great bars, always a great "crack", plus excellent Guinness, and music. Ireland is always a fun holiday of caving, beer, and partying. See photos from the trip. Scotish climbing trip, February 2006.A few photos from the Scotish climbing trip to the west coast February 2006.
Caving trip to Vercors, France, September 2005.In September 2005 a group of the cavers flew to Vercors, in South of France, for a week's fabulous caving. The caves in France are generally much bigger then in the UK, as can be seen in the photos. We were also blessed with gorgeous weather, as can also be seen as we eat breakfast on the patio. We explored 5 caves before our time was up and we had to return home. We will be back again, as it is such a beautiful area, and the caves are so will decorated.
